About Amanda the Panda
Coping with the death of a loved one is extremely difficult do matter what age you are. Luckily, Amanda the Panda Family Grief Center in Windsor Heights offers the most comprehensive and ongoing free services for children, teens, adults and families struggling with this loss.
Since it began in 1980, more than 30,000 Iowa children have benefited from Amanda the Panda’s invaluable services, and more than 900 grieving adults have attended the adult camp since it opened in 1989.
Available at no charge, the organization relies on its more than 400 volunteers to carrying out Amanda the Panda’s important mission. Meaning every dollar we donate goes a long way to bring hope and healing to those who need it.
