My mom has a signature dish. She makes it for potlucks, holidays, when company comes and simply when she can't think of anything else to cook. Having had this dish many times one might think I, or the others in my family, may be looking for something new. But not when it is this good! I was so excited to see almost all of the items for this dish on sale in the 7/31/12 weekly ad. Get excited for these cheesy potatoes that truly are the best!

What you need:

  • One bag Mr. Dell's Frozen Hash Browns ($1.99)
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter (separated)
  • 16 oz Roberts Sour Cream ($1.00)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups Crystal Farms Shredded Cheddar Cheese (3 for $5.00)
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups corn flakes

How it is done:

Mix thawed hash browns, 1 stick melted butter, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, minced onion, salt and pepper in large bowl. Spread in 9 x 13 pan. Cover with corn flakes mixed with 1/2 stick melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until heated through. These potatoes go so well with ham. Farmland Boneless Half Ham is on sale for just 4.99!
